Vortex
Vortex
This series investigates the presence of a multidimensional reality. It captures a moment of perceptual rupture—an attempt of the mind to glimpse layers of existence usually hidden from ordinary awareness. Fractured forms and luminous fragments appear as partial truths revealed in fleeting moments of insight, never fully grasped, but perceived through shifting, incomplete revelations.
The vortex-like structure at the center evokes an expanding consciousness, a visual metaphor for navigating a simulated or stratified space in which multiple realities coexist. Color fields and directional movements suggest the interweaving of worlds, a convergence where the inner and outer universes enter into continuous dialogue. These works invite a departure from linear thinking, encouraging a more fluid understanding of reality—one in which meaning resides not in a single focal point, but within a dynamic web of possibilities. The sensation of opening that emanates from the compositions gestures toward connection with something beyond the individual self—whether the universe, a collective mind, or another dimension of being.
The works also mirror my own creative process. I rarely complete a painting in a single, uninterrupted gesture; instead, I return to it repeatedly. Each pause becomes an intermezzo—an interval in which I shift, accumulate new experiences, and inevitably approach the work as a slightly different person than the one who began it. In this way, the paintings become layered not only visually, but temporally and psychologically, acknowledging the subtle transformation that occurs within us every day.
In that sense, the series captures both the fluid nature of perception and the evolving nature of the self—reminding us that creation, like consciousness, is never static but continually unfolding.
